Privacy Statement

How Wired for More collects, uses, and protects personal data, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG) and Dutch data protection law.

Last updated · June 2026

1 · Who we are

Wired for More is operated by Morgaine El-Mahdi, trading as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number 42087807, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We are the controller for the personal data described in this Statement.

For any question about your personal data, contact morgaine@wiredformore.nl. We are not legally required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (Functionaris Gegevensbescherming) for our scale, and have not done so.

Our services and website are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

2 · What data we process, and why

Website visitors

When you visit wiredformore.nl, limited technical data such as IP address and browser information may be processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website, under article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Contact and application form submissions

When you complete a form, we process your name, email address, the option you select, and anything you write in the message field. For general enquiries, the basis is either your consent or our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. For group applications, the basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Group applicants and participants

We process application and intake information and attendance records. If you choose to share health-related context, for example that you are in therapy, that information qualifies as special category data under article 9 GDPR. We process it only with your explicit consent, only to assess fit and run the programme safely, and we minimise what we store. You are never obliged to share this information.

Masterclass and workshop attendees

Basic contact details to arrange and deliver the session. Basis: performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in running the session.

Corporate clients

Business contact details of your representatives, to scope, contract, and deliver training. Basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest.

Newsletter subscribers (if introduced)

If we introduce a newsletter, we will process your email address on the basis of your consent, with an unsubscribe link in every message.

3 · How long we keep data

Invoicing and financial records are kept for seven years, to meet the Dutch fiscal retention obligation (fiscale bewaarplicht). Applications from people not offered a place are deleted within a short period after the decision. Participant programme data is kept only as long as needed for the programme and any follow-up, then deleted or anonymised. Enquiry correspondence is kept no longer than necessary. We do not keep personal data longer than required, and can justify each retention period if asked.

4 · Who we share data with

We use carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst):

  • Our website hosting and forms provider
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365 email)
  • Our bookkeeping provider (e-Boekhouden)
  • Our bank (bunq)
  • Our domain and DNS provider (Argeweb)

If we introduce a newsletter, the email tool will also act as a processor under such an agreement. We do not sell your data.

5 · International transfers

Some providers (for example Microsoft) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details.

6 · Cookies

Our site uses functional cookies necessary for it to work, which do not require consent. We configure any analytics in a privacy-friendly way so that, under the Dutch Telecommunicatiewet (article 11.7a) and the AVG, no consent is required. If we ever introduce non-functional or tracking cookies, they will only be placed after your explicit consent via a cookie banner.

7 · Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification of inaccurate data
  • Erasure of your data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Objection to processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing

To exercise a right, email morgaine@wiredformore.nl. We respond within one month. Some data cannot be erased before a statutory retention period (such as the seven-year fiscal duty) expires.

8 · Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

9 · Changes to this Statement

We may update this Statement from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the last update date at the top.
